The Daily Sentence

On the watch for paradoxical phrenic contingencies — as the philosophers Democritus, Heraclitus, Laozi, Meister Eckhart, Nietzsche,Spinoza, Shopenhauer, Kierkegaard; as the literary minds of Chesterton, Wilde, Rabelais, Cervantes, Sterne, Borges; even such as those modern mystic pattern-seekers — these, all, seekers of the contradictory, confessors of the ironical, using their wry tool to speak from unorthodox insight which, in all times, is most admired by the wise, as paradox breaks down the conceptual, opening the contemplative.  -Aaron DeWeese
